Data Entry VA: the numbers everyone relies on

Every decision in this agency runs on data: fan spending patterns, posting results, account performance, chatter numbers. As a data entry VA, you keep that data clean. Tracking sheets are filled on time, numbers match across sources, reports are prepared when managers need them. Invisible when done well, and everything falls apart without it.

What the job actually looks like

  • You maintain tracking sheets: daily and weekly numbers from the platforms into our sheets, accurately.
  • You prepare reports: pulling together the data managers and creators see every week.
  • You cross-check: when two sources disagree, you notice, flag it and find out which one is right.
  • You keep structure: files named right, sheets formatted right, nothing lost.

Honest part: this is quiet, repetitive, precise work. If that sentence reads like a warning, it is not your job. If it reads like a comfort, apply.

What we look for

  • Accuracy over speed. One wrong number in a report costs more than an hour of careful work.
  • Solid spreadsheet basics: Google Sheets, formulas at a simple level, clean formatting.
  • Enough written English for clear internal communication.
  • No industry experience needed. Discretion, however, is non-negotiable: you will see sensitive business data, and confidentiality agreements are part of the contract.

What you get

  • The most flexible role we have: much of the work is async, deadlines matter more than hours.
  • Fully remote, stable workload, clear checklists.
  • A trusted position close to the numbers, which is where operational careers here start.

Questions applicants ask us

Is the work really just data entry?

Core yes, plus light report preparation. VAs who show they catch errors get more responsibility quickly.

Do I need to work fixed shifts?

Mostly no. Daily and weekly deadlines, flexible hours around them, some overlap with team hours for handoffs.

Do I see adult content in this role?

Minimal. You work with numbers, sheets and dashboards, not with the content itself. Comfort with the industry as context is still required.
